Scholarship for Legal Dependents: | | | a.
One parent is full-timer - 50% on tuition fee | | | | b.
One parent is part-timer - 45% on tuition fee | | | | c.
Both parents are full-timers - 60% of tuition fee | | | | d.
One parent is full-timer, the other is part-timer - 55% on tuition fee | | | | e.
Both parents are part-timers - 50% on tuition fee |
This
discount is available to four (4) dependents, including spouse. Counting of persons
entitled to this privilege shall start from the one with the lowest school charge. For
a child to avail of this scholarship, he should be legitimate, adopted and legitimated,
not married and not older than twenty-three (23) years old.
Academically performing dependents may enjoy the following tuition fee discounts: | | | a.
Those with GPA of 1.0 - 1.4 - 100% | | | | b.
Those with GPA of 1.5 - 1.9 - 75% |
3.
Family Relations
Members of the same family, i.e. brothers and sisters
under one support who are enrolled in the elementary, high school, or in any undergraduate
or graduate course of the university are granted the following discounts on tuition
fee: | | | a.
Two (2) brothers/sisters -10% discount on one with lowest tuition fee | | | | b.
Three(3) or more brothers/sisters - 10% discount for both |
However,
these discounts should not be cumulative with other discounts which the students
may be entitled to. Brothers and sisters who are honor students may enjoy the
privilege granted to honor students but will be excluded in the number of family
relations to enjoy discounts. 4.
Loyalty Award
A student who has been studying in the University from
kindergarten, elementary grades until high school will be given a privilege of
75% discount on tuition fees for one school year in college. 5.

Athletic Scholarship Varsity players will enjoy 100% discount on tuition
fees. 7. UB Supreme Student Government Officers The President
and Vice President elect of the UB Supreme Student Government are granted the
privilege of full and a half scholarship respectively during their entire term
of office. 8.
UB Work Scholars The University of Bohol has adopted a program for working
scholars which provides free tuition to poor but deserving students who work part
time in the university as assistants and clerks in offices and laboratories. A
work scholar assigned at the Treasurer's Office or the Registrar's Office has
a privilege of 21 units free tuition. A work scholar assigned to any other office
is given the privilege of free tuition fee for a load of 18 units only. All work
scholars are required to render work duty of 6 hours a day. 9.
Scholarships from Government and Non-Government Organizations All government
mandated scholarships are fully implemented by the University. The University
also honors all other kinds of scholarships offered by the government to qualified
students. For full details on scholarships, the student is advised to refer either
to the CHED Regional Office or to the Head of Student Affairs.
